The course offers the essentials for managers and homeowners.


· Highlights what every board member needs to know to effectively serve.

· Provides a comprehensive look at the roles and responsibilities of community association leaders and effective ways to work with professional managers and service providers.

· Learn how to communicate with residents, hire professionals, develop enforceable rules, interpret governing documents and more.


Attendees MUST attend both sessions to receive credit for the course.

Auditor Attendee

To be considered as faculty for this course in the future, an individual needs to have taught the course previously or audit the course. Criteria to teach: Member in good standing of CAI; licensed CA attorney with at least 5 years active experience in practicing community association law. Chapter will review and approve/deny all auditor registration requests.
